Security Shutter Gates

The built-on security window and door shutter can be fitted externally or internally to most buildings to provide an effective physical barrier and a deterrent to intruders and thieves.

Manufactured in corrosion-resistant aluminium or insulated steel and powder coated to co-ordinate with the appearance of any building, the shutter utilises a compact roller-box design to minimise the visual impact while allowing easy use by individual operation, electrically powered operation or group control from a single switch. Reinforced guide rails and efficient integrated locking systems are among the features which have established this security shutter as the UK's leading range.

• Each curtain is made up of individual aluminium slats which are insulated with non-CFC foam.
• A dense brush seal (patent pending), firmly secured to the inner face of the curtain, significantly reduces operating noise and wear while providing excellent insulation enhancement.
• The powder coated extruded aluminium bottom slat provides greater deflection strength and incorporated 2 safety stops plus a 20mm rubber seal.

PICKETS
Cold rolled from 2.5mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form
16mm or 19mm wide channel sections - picket width determined by size of gate.

LATTICE SECTIONS
Cold rolled from 2.0mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form 16mm or 19mm wide multi-profile sections with strengthening ribs. Length and number of rows determined by size of gate.

CLASSIC
Recommended Max opening height - 6000mm
Top hung gate with bottom guide. Box top track rolled from 2.5mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form a 60mm wide x 75mm deep section. Can be face or soffit fixed using a wide range of purpose made brackets. Bottom track rolled from 2.0mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form an 'M' profile for grouting Into concrete floor - smaller formed channel sections available for less disturbance to floor (second fix applications).

PROTECTOR
Recommended Max opening height - 3500mm
Bottom running gate with top guide. Top track formed from 25mm or 40mm deep x 12mm wide core rail welded to 40mm x 6mm flat for soffit fixing, or to suitable fixing angle for face fixing. Bottom track is a 40mm x 12mm mild steel flat bar arranged to hinge up, or to be removable. Alternatively, a double channel track can be provided for grouting into concrete floor, formed from a 60mm wide x 28mm steel channel with 25mm x 12mm wide core rail. Single gate to slide straight with hinge up bottom track provided with 50mm x 50mm x 2.6mm thick pre-galvanised angle lock post. Singles and pairs to hinge aside provided with similar hanging and lock posts.

WINGATE
Recommended Max opening height - 3500mm
Bottom running gate with top guide. Top and bottom track formed from 25mm or 40mm x 12mm steel flat bar core rail welded to a wide range of fixing brackets to suit the opening construction. Gates are generally fixed between reveals but can be face fixed.

SENTINEL
Recommended Max opening height - 3500mm
Top hung gate with bottom guide. Box top track rolled from 2.5mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form a 60mm wide x 75mm deep section. Can be face or soffit fixed using a wide range of purpose mode brackets. Bottom track rolled from 2.0mm thick pre-galvanised steel to form an W' profile for grouting into concrete floor -smaller formed channel sections available for less disturbance to floor (second fix applications). 20mm x 6mm twisted mid bars provided to reduce space between pickets and provide additional strength. lattice is also replaced by 20mm x 6mm steel flat bars. Pickets con also be upgraded to 3.Omm thick for further strength.

CROMWELL
Recommended Max gate height - 2135mm
Bottom running gate with folding/removable top track. Top and bottom tracks are 40mm x 12mm flat bar rolls arranged to hinge against the bunched gate. Removable tracks are provided when the length of the track exceeds the height. Singles and pairs to hinge aside provided with 50mm x 50mm x 2.6mm thick pre-galvanised hanging and lock posts.

ROLLER CARRIERS
Top hung gates have steel rimmed wheels with ball bearings for smooth operation. Bottom running gates have steel rollers for durability and ease of operation.

FINISHES
Pickets, lattice and rolled tracks are pre-galvanised. Fabricated tracks are mild steel and primed one coat. Factory applied polyester powder coating is available to all gates and tracks at additional cost.

LOCKING
Hinged padlock fittings are fitted to all gates as standard. Padlocks and key operated clutch locks are available at additional cost.

ELECTRIC OPERATION
Available to Classic gates only. Three phase and single phase operators and a wide range of activation, control and safety features available.
